Bing announced the release of a new WordPress plugin that leverages the Bing Webmaster Tools API to connect with your WordPress website. So you can now submit new and updated content from your WordPress blog directly to Bing’s search index.

Let’s discuss how to generate a 32 digit API key for Bing webmaster which allow us to start using Bing URL submission plugin. You can either generate it directly from your WordPress admin in case you’re using the URL Submission plugin (see screenshot).
But if you simply want your website to get indexed with Bing Search Engine; start browsing first for Bing Webmaster Tool Sign in page.
In case if you do not have a Bing Webmaster account; it would be best to sign up using Gmail Account that is already associated with your Google Search Console. This will help you import your website quickly, effectively and you don’t have to spend a lot of time while updating your records.

How to Add Website to Bing Webmaster Tool using DNS Method
Once you’re done with signing up to your account on Bing Webmaster Tools; the very first interface you see is with an option to Add Your Website to Bing Webmaster .
To add your website manually into webmaster tool for bing, you need to follow below steps. Supporting screenshots are also showing below:
Insert website URL and click on Add button.
The next interface will ask you for some information about the website as well as your personal information.
Next it will show you four verification methods for your website ownership. We have got this verified through Automated DNS authentication since that is the most easiest way to get verified. You simply need to login to your server and it will show you an option to get this verified. That’s all!!!
Once your ownership is confirmed by Webmaster Tool, you will be prompt like this.
To generate API key, you need to select Webmaster API option from the left menu.
This interface is the one where you see the Generate option for your API key. Click on Generate and get the 32 digit API key for Bing Webmaster Tool.
Clicks on the ‘Generate’ button. An API key is generated, Congratulations!!
